KARTELL is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. 70 years of history, innovation and expertise, 70 years of plastic. Plastic is Kartell’s specialty: it has helped the company build an excellent worldwide reputation and made it an international Italian design icon.

The family company was founded by Giulio Castelli, and is now led by his son-in-law Claudio Luti, who has turned Kartell into an empire with more than 130 flagship stores around the world. Kartell’s Montreal location, which opened in May 2016, is the first and only Kartell flagship in Canada.

Kartell Montreal is proud to present, for the first time in Canada, the WOOD collection. For the very first time, the Italian company has decided to work with wood. The wood comes from certified forests, and Kartell has developed a unique 3D moulding technology that minimizes the use of raw materials. Kartell Montreal will also serve an autumn cocktail to celebrate the new collection’s arrival!
